Team-FTG

2003 - 2007

Team-FTG was a mature online gaming community. Over four years, we supported Battefield 1942, Battlefield: Vietnam, World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Halo 2, Battlefield 2, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4. Our mission was to provide a place for adult gamers to play free of the immaturity and general nastiness of public online games

Well guys, this is it -- it's finally time to turn out the lights here at Team-FTG.org. I promised to keep the forums going for former members of FTG to find each other, but as no one has been using them, I've decided to use my increasingly scarce server space for something else.

Thanks to everyone who was a part of FTG in all its various incarnations -- your support was (and is) greatly appreciated, but the time has come for me to move on from clan gaming for good. Sure, I'll still pop on XBOX Live from time to time, but the incredible amount of time and effort I put into running FTG took its toll on me.. I don't see myself being involved as an admin in gaming communities again.

If anyone needs to reach me for any reason, I am still periodically checking my XBOX Live messages. Although the Singard account on XBL is gone, my current account is "Jeff the Zombie." I am still using the Singard handle as my PSN ID due to "Jeff the Zombie" already being taken. I am currently playing Battlefied Bad Company and Halo 3 on XBL and Resistance: Fall of Man on PSN.

I'd like to take the time to thank all the people who were involved in the administration of the Team-FTG community over the four years that it ran. They are, in order of service: Todd/Dryheave, Chris/Humpher, Nick/BazookaJoe, Joshua/Argon, John/Hyde, Michael/AngryNinjaDuck/Highknobgeek, Karl/Mania76, Rex/SneakBird and Steven/XBOXed. Without them, FTG would never have been in business for as long as it was. Many apologies to anyone I may have inadvertantly missed.

Finally, although most of our former members have either retired from active gaming, or moved on to other clans, a core group from the last XBOX Live incarnation of FTG can be found online at http://www.clan-doa.net. Check them out if you want to play Rainbow Six Vegas or Call of Duty 4.

Well, I suppose that's it. It's been fun guys! Good luck and play nice!
